The dispute stems from overall reservation limits and associated legal amendments. When Madhya Pradesh decided to increase OBC reservation, interim court orders led to 13 percent of total recruitment being put on hold. Candidates who cleared main exams and interviews received their result status, but were never formally appointed. Consequently, thousands of aspirants have spent four years in extreme uncertainty.
Affected candidates find themselves neither fully rejected nor successfully posted. This situation has severely impacted their professional and personal lives, with many crossing age limits for future exams. Rahul Gandhi's letter emphasizes that playing with the future of the state's youth must stop immediately, and the government should find strong legal solutions to clear these hold posts.
Appeal to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav
Rahul Gandhi requested CM Mohan Yadav to personally intervene in the matter. He noted that the future of MP youth remains hanging in the balance, and administration must resolve this deadlock. The letter demands immediate recruitment processes for posts where results are already declared but held up solely due to percentage disputes.
