According to official guidelines, approval has been granted for a total of 22 new fair price shops. The establishment of these outlets is expected to streamline the public distribution system and significantly reduce long queues for cardholders across various rural and urban pockets.

Under the detailed blueprint, quotas for new shops have been assigned to different blocks and tehsils. Buhana leads the list with the maximum allocation of 6 new shops. Other prominent areas including Jhunjhunu, Malsisar, Khetri, Chirawa, Udaipurwati, Nawalgarh, and Mandawa are also witnessing strategic allocations based on local population density.
The administrative goal is to ensure that residents in remote areas do not have to travel long distances to collect their monthly rations. Locations have been meticulously chosen keeping transparency and accessibility in mind.
Reservation and Category Breakdown
Fair representation has been integrated into the allocation guidelines. While several locations have been designated as unreserved, specific centers are strictly reserved for women candidates to promote inclusivity.
