Political Tensions Rise in Bihar
The political atmosphere in the country and particularly in Bihar has heated up following sharp statements from Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. National Lok Morcha (RLM) chief and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha launched a frontal attack on the opposition leaders, accusing them of making baseless remarks merely to stay relevant in the media headlines.
Political analysts suggest that as electoral preparations gear up in the state, the war of words between the ruling alliance and the opposition is only going to intensify. Kushwaha strongly defended the central government and emphasized that the public stands firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development agenda.
Direct Attack on Rahul Gandhi's Claims
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi's allegations regarding election machinery and voter list revisions, Kushwaha remarked that if it were up to the Congress leader, he would have toppled the government long ago. However, he noted that Gandhi himself knows his words carry no weight on the ground. Kushwaha asserted that the common citizen trusts the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
"If Rahul Gandhi had his way, he would have toppled the government long ago, but he also knows that his statements hold no meaning anywhere..." — Upendra Kushwaha, RLM Chief
Criticism of Mallikarjun Kharge's Language
Kushwaha also expressed strong displeasure over Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's remarks against Prime Minister Modi, stating that a senior leader of a national party should maintain decorum. He termed Kharge's statements as reflective of a lack of political maturity and understanding.
Targeting Tejashwi Yadav's Frustration
Furthermore, Kushwaha criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, claiming that the former deputy chief minister is still unable to digest his political defeat and is speaking out of pure frustration. He warned that such negative rhetoric would further damage Yadav's political credibility among the masses.
