New Labor Rules Implemented for Foreign Employers in Vietnam
The Vietnamese government has established a transparent legal framework for foreign organizations and individual employers hiring local workers. This new system ensures that foreign entities strictly adhere to local labor laws, safeguarding the rights of employees.
Experts believe this move will improve the overall working environment and attract stable foreign investments. Ministry officials stated that the decree aims to foster better coordination between foreign employers and local workers while preventing any form of labor exploitation.
Mandatory Use of Digital Platforms for Recruitment
Under the new guidelines, foreign employers must notify designated management agencies in writing or via official email whenever they need to hire workers. The job description and the exact number of openings must be clearly stated.
Additionally, job opportunities must be posted publicly on the national job exchange platform and other authorized portals. This transparency ensures that qualified candidates have fair access to employment opportunities.
Direct Recruitment vs Agency Assistance
The decree allows foreign organizations to recruit workers directly or seek assistance from authorized labor management agencies. These agencies help screen and recommend suitable candidates based on the provided job descriptions, streamlining the hiring process.
