RLD Kicks Off Campaign Ahead of 2027 UP Elections
With an eye on the upcoming 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has stepped up its political and social outreach in the western part of the state. Addressing a massive social harmony conference in Pacheda Kalan village of Muzaffarnagar, party chief and Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary emphasized that bridging societal divides is only possible through continuous dialogue and mutual coordination.
Speaking to a large gathering at the Janta Inter College ground, Chaudhary asserted that while electoral politics has its place, social ties and brotherhood must transcend narrow political ambitions. He urged party workers to take the message of unity to the grassroots level rather than restricting their outreach to selective circles.
Carrying Forward the Legacy of Chaudhary Ajit Singh
Recalling the political legacy of his father, late Chaudhary Ajit Singh, the RLD chief noted that Muzaffarnagar has historically been a land of unity and progressive farmer movements. He urged workers to follow in the footsteps of Chaudhary Ajit Singh by actively engaging with common people across villages, listening to their grievances, and working toward collective welfare.

Focus on Farmers, Youth, and Rural Economy
Highlighting core rural concerns, Chaudhary addressed the future of farming and youth employment in western Uttar Pradesh. He discussed improvements in sugarcane payments and the benefits of the ethanol policy in boosting the rural economy. He concluded by inviting people to upcoming commemorative events, including the birth anniversary celebrations of Chaudhary Charan Singh on December 23.
