Elaborate pandals illuminated with decorative lights are being set up at various locations. Local potters are also working tirelessly to give final touches to the idols of Lord Vishwakarma.

According to ancient scriptures, Lord Vishwakarma assisted Lord Brahma in creating the universe and is revered as the first architect. Legends state that he engineered the celestial Swarg Lok in Satya Yuga, Lanka in Treta Yuga, Dwarka in Dvapara Yuga, and Hastinapura in Kali Yuga, alongside Sudamapuri.
