A shocking incident of late-night brawl and alleged assault at a five-star hotel parking lot in the national capital has come to light. A 28-year-old woman hailing from Nagaland has filed a complaint accusing three men of harassment, attempting to forcefully pull her into a car, and brutally attacking her friends with hockey sticks.
Chronology of the Incident
According to the details, the incident took place around 3:30 AM on October 4. The victim stated that she and her female friend were returning from the restroom near the exit gate when three men inside a white Mercedes allegedly intercepted them and tried to drag them into the vehicle. When their male friends intervened, the accused reportedly turned violent, using hockey sticks and iron objects to assault them.
The complainant also alleged that the Mercedes had its number plates removed to conceal identity, and the accused attempted to flee by driving recklessly when police arrived. Police teams reached the spot following a PCR call and escorted both groups to the police station for questioning, followed by medical examinations at the RML Hospital.
Legal Action and Ongoing Investigation
Based on the complaint, medical reports, and initial findings, police registered an FIR under relevant sections of the BNS for voluntarily causing hurt, wrongful restraint, and common intention. Although three suspects were initially arrested, they were later released on bail due to bailable sections. Investigators are currently examining CCTV footage from the hotel to ascertain the exact sequence of events and the trigger behind the brawl.
