Mild tremors were felt in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) on Tuesday morning, sending panicked residents rushing out of their homes. According to reports, the earthquake had a magnitude of 2.9 on the Richter scale.
The tremors were not just restricted to Delhi but were also felt across parts of Uttarakhand and neighboring areas of North India. People woke up to the sudden shaking and stepped out into open spaces as a precautionary measure.
