Actor Rajpal Yadav's family has expressed immense relief and hope following the Supreme Court hearing regarding his long-standing cheque bounce case. He confirmed that the court-directed amount of Rs 2 crore has been deposited, and the remaining amount will be paid soon.
Allegations of 15 Years of Harassment
Speaking to the media after the Supreme Court proceedings, Sripal Yadav called it a significant day for the family. He noted that they faced defamation and immense mental pressure over the past 15 to 16 years. He emphasized that the family has full faith in the judiciary and believes they will finally get justice.
'Money Was Invested in Film, Not Borrowed'
Clarifying the financial dispute, Sripal maintained that the money was never a simple loan, but rather an investment and partnership in a film project. According to him, the film was slated for release across 1,200 cinema halls, but a stay order halted its release, leading to severe financial setbacks.
