Humans Made it Extinct, Now Scientists Prepare to Revive Dodo Bird with AI Help

Scientists have made significant progress in the effort to bring back the Dodo bird, which went extinct approximately 360 years ago. American biotech company Colossal Biosciences has identified genes associated with the Dodo's unique traits using AI. This project focuses on modifying the genes of the Nicobar pigeon to develop Dodo-like characteristics, though several challenges remain.
