Honda Elevate and Skoda Slavia Facelift Set for October 6 Mega Launch: Six New Vehicles Coming Together

Automobile Sector Set for Massive Expansion with October Launches

The Indian automotive market is preparing for an exciting period as manufacturers line up multiple vehicle releases ahead of the festive season. While several two-wheelers and four-wheelers are slated for the month, October 6 stands out as a monumental day when automakers will roll out a total of six new products simultaneously, including two highly anticipated cars and four modern bikes.

Industry experts note that car manufacturers strategically time these launches to capture the festive buying sentiment, a period traditionally considered auspicious for acquiring new assets. With teasers and glimpses already circulating, automotive enthusiasts are eager to witness the official debut of these vehicles.

Skoda Slavia Facelift Brings Fresh Design and Advanced Features

Among the key highlights of the upcoming mega launch is the Skoda Slavia Facelift, a popular sedan receiving a significant cosmetic and technological overhaul. The updated model features a revised front end with redesigned headlamps, sleek connecting LED light bars, sharper LED DRLs, and newly styled alloy wheels that give it a much bolder road presence.

Inside the cabin, the most notable addition is a 10.24-inch driver display supporting turn-by-turn navigation alongside a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Mechanically, the sedan retains its trusted 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine options, ensuring a balance of efficiency and spirited performance.

Honda Elevate Facelift Pre-Bookings Open

Another major product making headlines is the Honda Elevate Facelift, for which pre-launch bookings have officially commenced across authorized dealerships nationwide with a token amount of 21,000 rupees. Having completed nearly three years in the market since its initial debut, the mid-size SUV is receiving its first major refresh.

The updated model sports a revised front grille, tweaked headlamps, and updated bumpers while retaining its tall and robust stance. Inside, passengers will benefit from a more premium layout, including a 10.25-inch infotainment unit, an 8-speaker audio system, wireless charging, and connected car technologies.

Strong Powertrain and Competitive Positioning

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate Facelift continues with its reliable 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine, churning out 121bhp of power and 145Nm of torque. Transmission choices will continue to include a 6-speed manual and a smooth CVT automatic gearbox, offering a refined driving experience across city commutes and highway cruising.

While official pricing will be revealed during the official launch event, the updated SUV will compete fiercely against established rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment.
