The victim, who works with a self-help group, had stepped out of her residence to collect pending loan installments from fellow group members. En route, she encountered an acquaintance named Vikash Sahni, who allegedly coerced her into sitting on his motorcycle on the pretext of some urgent business.
The accused then took her near a residential locality where his associate, Rohit Kumar, was already waiting. Under the guise of a casual conversation, the two men manipulated the woman and escorted her to the nearby Blue Diamond Hotel. Once inside the hotel premises, the true intentions of the perpetrators became apparent as they cornered the victim.
Blackmail and Exploitation Inside the Hotel Room
As per the details mentioned in the police application, the accused locked the hotel room from the inside. Armed with weapons, they threatened and intimidated the victim, subsequently forcing themselves upon her. During the assault, they recorded a video on a mobile phone to use as a tool for future extortion and blackmail. Family sources revealed that the prime accused's sister resides in the victim's neighborhood, making her a target of malicious intent.
After managing to escape from the clutches of the accused, the traumatized woman returned home and informed her relatives. The family immediately sought legal recourse and approached the local police station to register a complaint against the perpetrators.
