When Salman Khan Objected to Karisma Kapoor's Dress and Made Her Cry

Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor share a bond filled with warmth, endless banter, and decades of friendship. The iconic 90s onscreen duo recently appeared on 'Koffee With Karan 9', where they spilled the beans on several amusing behind-the-scenes stories, leaving host Karan जौहर in splits.

Why Salman Objected to Karisma's Outfit

Having starred together in massive hits like 'Biwi No. 1', 'Judwaa', and 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge', Salman and Karisma's camaraderie is legendary. During the chat, Karisma recalled an incident from the sets of 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge' where she had put a lot of effort into her look for a song sequence.

Much to her disappointment, Salman flat-out refused to shoot with her in that particular outfit. When Salman stood his ground, Karisma even complained to director David Dhawan. Explaining his side, Karan noted that Salman was being protective because the skirt kept riding up during rigorous dance moves, making it a tricky situation. Salman admitted he kept asking her to adjust her costume before every take and eventually asked her to change it completely.

The fun didn't stop there. The duo recalled another prank from their 1999 blockbuster 'Biwi No. 1'. While the film broke box office records, Salman decided to pull Karisma's leg by telling her the movie had flopped. A panicked Karisma actually burst into tears, while Salman couldn't stop laughing at her reaction.
