Video: Salman Khan Slams Paparazzi Over Back-Shot Controversy, Claims Some Actresses Pay For Such Photos

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan once again addressed the controversial issue of paparazzi culture and invasive photography on the sets of 'Bigg Boss'. During the recent 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode, actress Neha Dhupia also appeared on the show and thanked Salman for taking a strong stand on social media trolling and privacy violations. Elaborating on why he chose to break his silence, the superstar issued a stern warning to errant photographers.

Strict Action Against Invasive Paparazzi

Salman revealed that he had previously warned the paparazzi about crossing lines, but many took it as a joke. Despite his warnings, some media pages continued posting questionable angles. 'I have seen all that, and now they are doing it even more. But I will take strict action against all of them. Right now, they think it's a joke, and some big platforms are also doing it, but we will take full legal action,' Salman asserted. He emphasized that photographers must understand which celebrities are comfortable with certain types of media coverage and who finds it deeply invasive.

'Some Actresses Pay Paps Themselves'

In a surprising revelation, Salman claimed that paparazzi aren't always entirely to blame, as some celebrities themselves orchestrate these photo-ops. He stated, 'Some actresses themselves call male paparazzi, pay them to be present there, and ask them to capture specific kinds of shots. In such cases, what can the paparazzi do? The only difference is who wants it and who doesn't.' He added that while those comfortable with it can continue, those who object must not be harassed.

Protecting Celebrity Privacy

Concluding his stance, the actor stated that if a celebrity explicitly tells photographers not to capture them in a certain manner and the instruction is ignored, he will personally take legal action against the violators to ensure privacy is respected in the industry.
