Referring to the joint meeting and statements of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Dr. S.S. Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, the BJP leader underscored that the commission functions with utmost transparency. Following their late September meeting, an official joint statement clearly established that all major decisions, including special intensive revisions, were taken with absolute consensus among the members, refuting any claims of unilateral actions.
Criticizing those who continuously question the commission's integrity, he noted that every administrative step—ranging from the original directives of June 24 to state-wise timelines—has been executed following proper administrative protocols and unanimous agreements. Despite this, opposition factions continue to spread misinformation to salvage their fading political footprint.
Clearing the Air on Administrative Letters and Rules
Addressing the controversy stoked by the opposition regarding a communication sent to the cabinet secretary, the BJP strongly condemned the deliberate creation of a political storm over a non-issue. The Election Commission has already clarified that the letter in question had nothing to do with policy decisions, the IT department, or special intensive revisions, but was rather a limited internal administrative matter concerning an official on deputation.
