However, keeping television audiences and family viewing in mind, the makers resubmitted the movie to the censor board for a fresh certificate suitable for a broader demographic.
According to industry reports, the censor board suggested 45 to 50 cuts to tone down intense violence, bloodshed, and aggressive sequences. New Runtime Revealed: Film Shortened by 10 Minutes
Following the necessary edits, the CBFC granted the television version a U/A 16+ certificate. Consequently, the runtime of the movie has been reduced by 10 minutes. The original theatrical version had a runtime of 3 hours, 49 minutes, and 6 seconds (229.6 minutes), whereas the new television broadcast version runs for 3 hours, 39 minutes, and 6 seconds.
