New Delhi: Political activity and protests have once again intensified at Jantar Mantar in the national capital. Security arrangements have been heavily tightened across parts of central Delhi in view of a protest organized against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Heavy deployment of police and security personnel was witnessed in the area since early morning.

According to reports, activities under 'Jantar Mantar 2.0' picked up pace early in the day. With opposition activists and workers marching towards the site, the administration remains on high alert. Additional security personnel have been brought in buses to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents.
