The mysterious death case of a businessman is getting murkier by the day. While the police are on the lookout for the prime accused, a new Nepal connection has surfaced, sending ripples through the investigation. CCTV footage from Mahim Nagar in Nepal has emerged, showing model Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi Dubey, and friend Adil riding on an e-rickshaw.
Ever since the incident came to light, law enforcement agencies have been conducting raids to nab the absconding accused. Let's delve into how this Nepal footage has added a twist to the ongoing investigation into the businessman's tragic death.
Police Track Trail to Nepal Border, Abandoned Car Found
The case dates back to October 9, when a businessman died under mysterious circumstances in an apartment. The victim's family accused his alleged live-in partner, Shraddha Dubey, of blackmail and murder. Following the allegations, police and crime branch teams activated efforts to trace her location, moving from Sitapur and Lakhimpur to the Rupaidiha border near the India-Nepal frontier.
Police recovered Shraddha's Scorpio car abandoned near the Rupaidiha parking lot, leading to suspicions that the group had crossed over into Nepal on foot. Shortly after, the CCTV visuals from Nepal surfaced, showing three individuals heading towards a bus station and boarding an e-rickshaw.

Even as police analyze the footage from Nepal, Shraddha Dubey released a video on social media to present her side of the story. In the clip, she claimed that the businessman was not murdered, but had died by suicide. She also urged the public not to drag her name into unnecessary controversies.
Meanwhile, the victim's family maintains that Shraddha used to trap wealthy individuals and was continuously blackmailing the deceased. Police are currently verifying the Nepal visuals and tracking the exact coordinates of the suspects to bring clarity to the case.
