Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma recently emphasized that his administration's primary objective is to elevate the standard of living in villages, focusing heavily on crucial sectors like water supply, electricity, and connectivity.
A Massive Financial Boost for Udaipur Division
During a high-profile public event in Pratapgarh, Chief Minister Sharma inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects exceeding Rs 924 crore across seven districts of the Udaipur division. This extensive financial allocation aims to bridge the rural-urban divide by strengthening the foundational infrastructure required for sustainable economic growth.
Official records indicate that out of the total outlay, foundation stones were laid for 1,029 projects valued at Rs 668 crore, while 423 completed projects worth Rs 256 crore were formally dedicated to the public. These initiatives encompass critical sectors, including road networks, drinking water pipelines, educational institutions, and community healthcare centers.
Empowering Tribal and Marginalized Communities
Special attention is being directed toward the state's tribal-dominated regions. The Chief Minister highlighted that under the 'double-engine' governance model, developmental momentum in these areas has witnessed a significant surge.
