A Sharp Political Attack on CJP
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has launched a scathing attack on the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and its founder Abhijit Dipke, suggesting a sarcastic name change for the political outfit. Known for his witty remarks and straightforward political commentary, the Republican Party of India (RPI) chief did not mince words while addressing the media.
Athawale pointed out that the newly emerged political group has made it a habit to constantly demand the resignations of top constitutional authorities and government ministers without substantial grounds, losing its core political focus.
Why CJP Should Be Renamed 'Resignation Janata Party'
Elaborating on his criticism, the Union Minister stated that instead of engaging in constructive political discourse or addressing public welfare, the organization's entire agenda revolves around asking people to step down from their offices. He cited previous instances, including demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra प्रधान over NEET paper leak allegations, and the recent calls for the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
He remarked that such tactics are merely political stunts aimed at gaining media attention rather than resolving actual national challenges. Consequently, he suggested that the party should officially rebrand itself as the 'Resignation Janata Party'.
Comments on CJP Founder Abhijit Dipke
Addressing the background of CJP founder Abhijit Dipke, Athawale noted that Dipke is relatively new to the complexities of Indian politics. He mentioned that Dipke hails from Maharashtra, belongs to the Dalit community, practices Buddhism, and has pursued higher education in the United States.
However, the veteran leader emphasized that academic qualifications alone cannot replace grassroots political experience. Contrasting himself with the new entrant, Athawale highlighted his own decades-long struggle for the rights of Dalits, backward classes, and marginalized communities across the nation.

He praised the local administration for effectively implementing central welfare policies that have directly benefited common citizens.
Highlighting key financial inclusion initiatives, Athawale noted that over 59 million Jan Dhan bank accounts have been opened nationwide, with approximately 2 million accounts registered in Assam alone. Additionally, millions of micro-entrepreneurs have benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, driving economic empowerment at the grassroots level.
Confident Prediction for the 2029 General Elections
Concluding his remarks, the senior leader expressed firm confidence in the continued political dominance of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He asserted that the public remains deeply supportive of the Prime Minister's progressive vision and governance model.
Making a bold political prediction, Athawale declared that propelled by robust developmental milestones and public trust, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will successfully secure a fourth consecutive term in office following the 2029 general elections.
