A shocking and gruesome crime has surfaced from Surat district in Gujarat, sending shockwaves across the region. In a horrific display of betrayal and malice, a husband and wife conspired to murder three women from their own family and successfully concealed the sinister secret for four years. The dark truth came to light only after a joint operation by the Ahmedabad Crime Branch and local police exposed the layered conspiracy, recovering human skeletons from the courtyard of a residential house.
The investigation began when police received a complaint regarding a hidden body. Initially presented as a domestic dispute and an attempt by one partner to frame the other, deep interrogation unraveled a much darker reality. Investigators discovered that the accused couple had systematically eliminated three elderly and vulnerable women of their extended family and devised clever ways to hide the remains.
According to police records, the first murder took place in February 2022, targeting a relative suffering from illness. The second victim was the husband's bedridden mother, who was suffering from paralysis. The third and most chilling murder occurred in October 2022, when an elderly grandmother was smothered to death. To ensure the crime was never discovered, the perpetrators placed her body inside a large barrel, filled it with cement, and buried it deep inside the courtyard.
The case finally cracked when the husband, harboring deep resentment following a separation from his wife, attempted to frame her and her brother by tipping off the police about a hidden corpse.
