Dashlakshan Mahaparv Begins with Great Zeal
The 10-day Dashlakshan (Paryushan) Mahaparv of the Digambar Jain community has officially commenced in a deeply spiritual atmosphere. Devotees gathered at the historic Shantinath Temple to perform rituals, prayers, and engage in spiritual introspection over the next ten days.
Devotees Celebrate Uttam Kshama
The first day of the festival was celebrated as 'Uttam Kshama Day'. People dressed in traditional attire flocked to the temple since morning. Under the guidance of Pandit Ayush Jain, sacred rituals like Abhishek, Shanti Dhara, and Kalash Sthapana were performed with Vedic chanting.
