At a prominent media conclave, two key ministers of the Haryana government shared their insights regarding the state's development, infrastructure, and governance over the past decade. Cabinet Minister Vipul Goyal and Dr. Arvind Sharma participated in the event, addressing various pressing issues.
Heli-Taxi Service and Aviation Plans
Addressing questions related to civil aviation, Cabinet Minister Vipul Goyal announced that the government is rapidly expanding the scope of civil aviation in the state. He stated that since Haryana is a compact state, they are actively working on connecting it with a 'Heli-Taxi' service alongside establishing new pilot training schools.
On the issue of waterlogging in Gurugram, Goyal highlighted that extensive drainage cleaning drives were executed over the past six months, identifying and resolving critical vulnerable points to prevent urban flooding.
Minister Clarifies on Ram Rahim's Parole
Answering questions concerning the frequent parole granted to Baba Ram Rahim and prison reforms, Jail Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma explained that the prison department's role is strictly limited to submitting the inmate's conduct report to the concerned commissioner.
He emphasized that according to the law, an inmate is eligible for parole 3 to 4 times a year on specific grounds, and the parole granted to Ram Rahim strictly adheres to established guidelines. He also noted significant security modernizations inside state prisons, including the installation of advanced scanners and jammers.
