UP Declares Public Holiday on Mahanavami, CM Yogi Launches Fierce Attack on Opposition

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a public holiday across the state on the auspicious occasion of Mahanavami. The decision aims to ensure that people can celebrate the festival with their families with religious fervour. Mahanavami, celebrated on the ninth day of Navratri, holds immense spiritual and religious significance for devotees of Goddess Durga.

This holiday announcement allows citizens, students, and employees to actively participate in temple visits and traditional rituals. Earlier, CM Yogi had initiated the festivities by performing the Kalash Sthapana and offering prayers to Goddess Durga at the revered Gorakhnath temple on the first day of Shardiya Navratri.

CM Yogi Slams Opposition Over Destabilization Conspiracies

Amidst the festive celebrations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp political attack on the opposition and forces attempting to spread instability in India. He asserted that in a democracy, the path to power emerges solely through a mandate from the people, not through anarchy. Drawing parallels to external upheavals, he warned against forces dreaming of staging Bangladesh-style regime changes in India.

Expressing deep concern over the youth, CM Yogi stated that the younger generation is meant to build the nation's future, not to fulfill someone's political ambitions. He criticized those who attempt to hand over tools of anarchy to youths instead of torches of nation-building under the guise of electoral reforms and justice slogans.

India's Democracy Cannot Be Shaken by Conspiracies

The Chief Minister emphasized that India's democracy is a giant banyan tree rooted firmly in public trust, and minor political conspiracies cannot shake it. He remarked that the public has unmasked and kept away political opportunists who attempt to grab power by pushing the nation into chaos. Such political conspiracies will never succeed in India.
