Haryana CM Saini's Sharp Critique of Punjab Administration
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has launched a scathing critique against the ruling administration in neighboring Punjab, targeting their handling of governance and law enforcement. Addressing public concerns, Chief Minister Saini highlighted the worsening security situation and accused the state leadership of prioritizing theatrical entertainment over serious administrative responsibilities.
Saini emphasized that citizens elect governments to resolve pressing socio-economic challenges, not to witness endless political rhetoric. He pointed out that grand promises made during election campaigns regarding employment, farmers' welfare, and security have remained unfulfilled on the ground.
Jokes Cannot Run a Government, Says Saini
Taking a direct swipe at the administrative style, the Haryana CM remarked that witty remarks and jokes might entertain audiences in a cinema hall, but they cannot successfully run a state government.
"You can run cinema halls with jokes, but running a government requires sincere vision, dedication, and active groundwork,"Saini stated, adding that the administration wasted precious years without delivering substantial public welfare outcomes.
This sharp verbal duel has further intensified political friction between the neighboring states, bringing core developmental and administrative failures back into the public spotlight.
Raising Concerns Over Mansa Incident and Safety
Focusing on specific law and order failures, Chief Minister Saini brought up the tragic killing of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota in Mansa district. He asserted that the unchecked proliferation of illegal narcotics has endangered countless young lives, while those daring to protest against the drug syndicate are facing deadly consequences due to administrative apathy.
He urged that such grave security lapses should be addressed with strict legal measures rather than political deflection, reiterating that public safety remains paramount.
