In a chilling incident that has sent shockwaves through the region, an elderly couple and their domestic help were brutally murdered over a minor financial dispute involving just 300 rupees. A Minor Dispute That Escalated into Tragedy
According to police investigations, the accused plumber, Rajkumar, had been working at the residence of the elderly couple for nearly two years. On the day of the incident, an argument broke out between him and the homeowners, KS Kapoor and his wife Rajni Kapoor, over a payment settlement of approximately 300 rupees.
The verbal altercation quickly escalated into extreme violence. Enraged, the accused picked up a screwdriver and launched a brutal attack on the couple. When their domestic help rushed to the room upon hearing screams and tried to intervene, she was also subjected to the fatal assault, leaving all three victims critically injured.
Alert Neighbors Apprehend the Accused
Hearing the commotion, alert neighbors rushed to the scene. One of the neighbors witnessed the attacker assaulting the maid and immediately raised an alarm. With the help of other residents, they managed to overpower the accused and held him until law enforcement arrived.
Police promptly arrested the accused and recovered the weapon used in the crime along with stolen valuables. All three injured individuals were rushed to a hospital, where they were unfortunately pronounced dead upon arrival. Authorities are continuing their thorough investigation using CCTV footage and forensic evidence.
