RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter, Rohini Acharya, has returned to Patna from Singapore after a prolonged gap of nearly ten months, ending a period of intense familial distance that began following the 2025 Bihar assembly election results.
Upon landing at the Patna airport, an emotionally charged atmosphere unfolded as her father, party chief Lalu Yadav, accompanied by her mother Rabri Devi and elder sister Misa Bharti, arrived personally to receive her. As Rohini stepped out, she broke down in tears while bending down to touch her father's feet and subsequently embraced her mother in a deeply touching moment caught on camera.
Speaking briefly to the media at the airport, Rohini maintained that her visit was strictly personal and aimed solely at meeting her aging parents. She urged the media and political circles not to attribute any political motives to her return. When questioned about her past rift with her brother Tejashwi Yadav, she chose to remain silent, emphasizing only her affection and duty toward her parents.
Political analysts are closely watching this development, viewing it as a potential healing touch within the prominent political family of Bihar after months of strained relations and public estrangement.
