Fire Rains From The Sky In Ukraine! Russian Missile Attacks Kill 30 And Deepen Power Crisis

Russian attacks across Ukraine are intensifying at an alarming pace. In eastern Ukraine, recent strikes resulting in hits on public buses and residential areas have claimed the lives of 30 people, with at least 18 others sustaining injuries. Meanwhile, the electricity crisis in the capital city of Kyiv has deepened further as the harsh winter approaches.

Deteriorating Security in Donetsk and Transport Suspended

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, reported that public transportation has been suspended in Kramatorsk and the neighboring city of Sloviansk due to rapidly deteriorating security conditions. Filashkin accused Russia of deliberately targeting civilians, stating that the lives of passengers and bus drivers cannot be put at risk under such perilous circumstances.

Just a day prior, a devastating missile strike in the northern Ukrainian city of Priluki left 22 people dead, including five children. The Russian missile targeted a residential building, injuring at least 54 people. Rescue teams utilized search dogs to comb through the rubble, while several displaced residents were forced to spend the night in damaged apartments due to a lack of alternative shelter.

Zelenskyy's Warning and Emergency Power Cuts in Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that as winter draws closer, Russia is likely to intensify its daily missile and drone attacks. He appealed to NATO nations for additional defense assistance, requesting ballistic missile defense systems, ammunition for fighter jets, and advanced anti-drone technologies.

Meanwhile, Ukraine's energy company DTEK announced that the national grid operator Ukrenergo has ordered emergency power outages in Kyiv. Citizens have been urged to prepare emergency kits, store drinking water, and arrange alternative power sources in anticipation of prolonged blackouts during the upcoming winter season.
