Stepping Away from Mumbai's Glamour for Mountain Serenity
Bollywood power couple director Aditya Dhar and actress Yami Gautam have made a monumental lifestyle choice by moving away from the bustling streets of Mumbai to the serene hills of Himachal Pradesh. While the couple will continue to travel to Mumbai for their professional film commitments, their primary focus has shifted towards a tranquil life surrounded by nature.
According to recent reports, the family has decided to spend the majority of their time at their ancestral-style property. Ever since welcoming their baby boy Vedavid in May 2024, the couple has intentionally kept their personal life away from the relentless glare of the paparazzi.
The 100-Year-Old Heritage Property in Gohar, Mandi
Located in the Gohar region of Mandi district, their stunning property spans across 25 acres of lush green land. Long before marrying Aditya in June 2021, Yami had purchased this century-old heritage house built primarily from traditional wood and stone. The property holds immense sentimental value for the actress, who hails originally from Himachal Pradesh.
The architecture reflects authentic Himachali craftsmanship, blending seamlessly with the rugged mountain terrain and providing a deeply grounding environment for the young family.
Organic Farming and Sustainable Living
Surrounding their historical home are sprawling organic orchards where the couple grows famous Himachali apples, potatoes, plums, and fresh ginger. This self-sustaining approach to daily life allows them to enjoy pure organic produce away from urban pollution.
By embracing this peaceful mountain lifestyle, Yami and Aditya have set an inspiring example for balancing a high-profile Bollywood career with a grounded, sustainable family existence.
