Vastu Tips: Remove These 5 Inauspicious Things From Home Before Navratri to Attract Prosperity

The auspicious festival of Navratri is approaching, and households everywhere are busy with deep cleaning and preparations. However, did you know that merely dusting is not enough? According to Vastu Shastra, broken, damaged, and unused items accumulated in the house promote negative energy, which can displease Goddess Durga and Goddess Lakshmi. If you want to invite prosperity and divine blessings this Navratri, remove these 5 things immediately.

5 Things to Remove From Your Home Right Away

1. Withered Basil (Tulsi) and Thorny Plants: The Tulsi plant is considered extremely sacred. If your Tulsi plant has withered, remove it immediately, as a dry plant brings poverty and sadness. Additionally, thorny plants like cacti should not be kept inside the living quarters. Dispose of the dry plant respectfully and replace it with a fresh, green Tulsi or money plant.

2. Broken Idols and Torn Pictures: Never keep broken idols of deities or torn pictures in your prayer room or anywhere in the house, as this attracts severe Vastu dosha. Clay idols can be immersed in water, while metal ones can be placed near the roots of a peepal tree.

3. Broken or Old Brooms: The broom is associated with Goddess Lakshmi. Keeping a broken or extremely old broom at home can invite financial distress. Replace your old brooms with new ones before Navratri begins.

4. Expired Medicines and Chipped Utensils: Do not keep expired medicines, old waste papers, chipped utensils, or broken glass in the house. These items increase illness and mental stress. Discard all such clutter promptly.

5. Stopped Clocks and Defective Electronics: A stopped clock signifies halted progress and invites lethargy among family members. Similarly, malfunctioning electronic items block positive growth. Repair stopped clocks or replace their batteries, and clear out electronic scrap.
