ANTF Chiefs Conference in Delhi to Tackle Drug Syndicates
The central government is preparing to take more organized and comprehensive action against drug trafficking and narcotics networks across the country. In this regard, the third national conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) chiefs will be held in New Delhi on September 22 and 23.
Organized by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), the high-profile conference will be inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. ANTF chiefs from all 36 states and union territories, along with key officials and agency representatives, will participate in the discussions.
Focus on Supply, Demand, and Financial Networks
The main objective of the conference is to review ongoing collective actions, analyze current challenges, and formulate a concrete strategy. Discussions will not be limited to curbing drug trafficking but will focus heavily on supply chains, demand, finance, synthetic drugs, clandestine labs, fugitives, and international networks.

Synthetic Drugs and Demand Reduction Strategies
The conference will also deliberate on emerging challenges related to synthetic drugs and clandestine laboratories.
