The tournament, which took place from September 14 to 18 in Begusarai, witnessed intense competition among top young talents from across the state. Navigating through tough draws with tactical brilliance, the Katihar duo proved their mettle on the court. Their stellar performances have not only earned them state titles but also cemented their places in the Bihar state team for the upcoming National Badminton Championship.
Vaibhavi's Unstoppable Run in U-19 Category
Playing her final year in the U-19 girls' singles category, Vaibhavi Singh made a triumphant return to competitive action after a brief gap. Exhibiting an aggressive yet calculated game, she completely dominated the court and sealed the final match with ease. Over the past four years, Vaibhavi has maintained an unprecedented record in this age group, securing seven state titles and two runner-up finishes.
Soumya Bharti Shines in U-17 Singles
Meanwhile, rising star Soumya Bharti displayed tremendous composure, precise drop shots, and powerful smashes to claim the U-17 girls' singles title.
