The grief of a mother knows no bounds after a brutal crime shattered her family, leaving her demanding ultimate justice rather than a mere police encounter. The accused, Kamal, allegedly broke into the house and shot dead his 19-year-old girlfriend, Chanchal. Though police acted swiftly and arrested the accused within five hours following an encounter where he sustained a bullet injury to his leg, the victim's parents refuse to consider this complete justice.
Accused Arrested Within Five Hours After Police Encounter
The shocking incident created widespread panic in the locality. Following the murder, police teams launched an immediate manhunt and tracked down the accused within five hours. During the operation, an encounter ensued, resulting in the accused getting shot in the leg before being taken into custody. While the swift apprehension was praised by the family, they maintained it does not compensate for the loss of their daughter's life.
'I Want the Killer Dead Before My Daughter's Funeral'
Overcome with grief, the victim's mother, Sapna, expressed deep dissatisfaction with the encounter. In an emotional outburst, she stated that an injury is not enough and demanded the death penalty for the murderer, warning that she would shoot him herself if justice is not served through the legal system. She tearfully reiterated that she wants to see the killer's body before her daughter's last rites.
Family Appeals to PM Modi and CM Yogi for Capital Punishment
The victim's father, Sonu, while acknowledging the police's prompt response, formally appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi आदित्यनाथ to ensure the accused is hanged to death. The family remains firm that true peace for Chanchal's soul will only come when her killer faces the gallows.
