Two Youths Die After Coming in Contact with High-Tension Wire While Removing Mixer Machine

A routine journey to attend a local function turned into an unimaginable tragedy when two youths were electrocuted to death after coming into contact with a high-tension electricity wire. The incident has triggered widespread grief and anger among local residents, who have blamed the electricity department for sheer negligence.

How the Incident Unfolded

According to reports, the victims were traveling to an event in a Bolero vehicle. Their path was blocked by a mixer machine parked on the road near a village pathway. To clear the way and allow their vehicle to pass, both young men stepped down from the car and attempted to move the mixer machine aside.

Tragically, as they shifted the equipment, its upper metal part touched a dangerously low 11,000-volt high-tension wire passing overhead. High-voltage current instantly surged through the machine, catching both youths unawares. The shock was so severe that they died on the spot before any medical help could reach them. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene following the mishap.

Outrage Over Departmental Negligence

Enraged locals gathered in large numbers at the accident site. Villagers alleged that the high-tension wire hung perilously low at that spot, posing a constant threat to commuters and pedestrians.
