Honda Cars India has officially rolled out the much-anticipated Honda Elevate Facelift in the domestic market. Positioned strategically in the highly competitive midsize SUV segment, the new model aims to challenge segment leaders like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Tata Sierra with bolder styling and upgraded features.
Priced attractively starting at Rs 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom) without any hike in base pricing, the updated SUV brings several much-needed additions to the table.
Engine Specifications
Under the hood, the Honda Elevate facelift retains its proven 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. It churns out 121 bhp of power and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission featuring 7-speed paddle shifters.
Fuel Efficiency and Running Cost
Honda claims a mileage of 15.31 km/l for the 6-speed manual variant, while the CVT automatic version delivers an improved claimed mileage of 16.61 km/l. Considering current metropolitan fuel rates (approx. Rs 102 per liter), driving this SUV will cost roughly Rs 6.15 per kilometer. However, real-world mileage will vary depending on traffic conditions and individual driving habits.
Advanced Features
The cabin has also received contemporary upgrades including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, and an 8-speaker surround sound setup.
