Outrage Over Mysterious Death of Premanand Maharaj's Disciple in Vrindavan
The mysterious death of a young disciple associated with renowned spiritual orator Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan has sent shockwaves across the spiritual community and devotees nationwide. Deepak Lodhi, also known as Rasik Dulari Sharan, was found dead under suspicious circumstances, leading to a cascade of shocking revelations that have put local authorities under intense scrutiny.
Originally hailing from Paraswada in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district, 27-year-old Deepak's family is devastated. According to his relatives, Deepak initially aspired to join the Indian Army, but after failing to clear the physical fitness test, he chose to dedicate his life to spiritual devotion. However, this decision turned into a nightmare for his family when they were repeatedly denied access to meet him over the past two years.
The grieving parents claimed they visited the ashram in Vrindavan more than ten times, only to be turned away at the gates by staff members who variously claimed Deepak was absent or engaged in rigorous service. The sudden news of his tragic demise has left the family shattered and demanding answers from the authorities.
Post-Mortem Findings and Recovered Grinder Deepen the Mystery
The case took a bizarre turn when the post-mortem report revealed severe injuries and extensive blood loss, alongside the recovery of an electric grinder from the deceased's room. Police report that Deepak allegedly jumped from the fourth floor of the Gurukrupa Kunj ashram, and CCTV footage purportedly captures the fall.
However, the nature of the injuries detailed in the autopsy report has raised serious doubts about the initial suicide theory. Forensic experts and investigators are examining how the grinder found at the scene relates to the grave injuries sustained by the young man. Police have sent biological samples to the Forensic Science Lab (FSL) and are awaiting conclusive reports to ascertain the exact sequence of events.
Saint Community Demands High-Level Investigation
Deeply disturbed by the incident, saints and religious leaders in Vrindavan convened an emergency meeting under the banner of the 'Dharm Raksha Sangh' at the Lalit Kunj ashram. Rejecting the suicide narrative, prominent mahants voiced their extreme displeasure over the handling of the case.
