Suzuki V-Storm SX Sales Surge by 902 Percent, New Color Variant Launched

Suzuki Motorcycle India has expanded its adventure motorcycle lineup in the Indian market by launching a fresh color variant of the popular Suzuki V-Storm SX. The company has introduced the new bike in a striking 'Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray' color option, taking the total number of available color choices to five.

Massive Surge in Sales

The sales of Suzuki V-Storm witnessed an unprecedented jump in August. The company retailed 1,012 units of this motorcycle during the month, compared to just 101 units sold in the corresponding month last year. This marks an exceptional year-on-year sales growth of approximately 902 percent (901.98%). Suzuki managed to sell 911 more units of the V-Storm this year, highlighting its growing traction among riding enthusiasts.

Engine and Specifications

There are no mechanical updates made to the motorcycle. The Suzuki V-Storm SX continues to draw power from the reliable 249cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 26.5 hp of power and 22.2 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It features 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with a generous ground clearance of 205 mm.

Pricing and Competition

Priced at Rs 2,02,118 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the V-Storm SX comes equipped with standard dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, Suzuki's Easy Start System, and a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster. It competes directly with models like the Hero Xpulse 210 and TVS Apache RTX 300 in the segment.
