Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently appeared as the first guest on the latest season of 'Koffee With Karan'. During a candid conversation with host Karan Johar and special segment host Karisma Kapoor, Salman addressed the much-debated comparison between Ranveer Singh's performance in 'Dhurandhar' and Ranbir Kapoor's intense act in 'Animal'. Instead of picking a favorite, the superstar offered a thoughtful perspective on both actors.
Comparing Two Different Acting Styles
During the rapid-fire round, when asked whose performance had a greater impact, Salman declined to choose just one, stating that their working styles are entirely different. He clarified, 'It's not being diplomatic at all; both are brilliant actors. One has incredible energy, while the other possesses immense intensity. Their approaches to acting are completely unique.'
Praising Ranveer Singh's Restraint
Salman specifically highlighted Ranveer Singh's work in 'Dhurandhar', noting how the actor reined in his usual high-octane energy to fit the subtle demands of his undercover character. 'Especially in 'Dhurandhar', Ranveer had to control his energy significantly. As an actor, showing such restraint and confidence on screen is commendable,' Salman remarked.
The Cinematic Impact of Both Films
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Animal' made massive waves with Ranbir Kapoor playing a fierce, complex protagonist. Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar's directorial 'Dhurandhar' showcased Ranveer Singh as an undercover operative navigating a dangerous criminal underworld. Both films emerged as major talking points, driven by stellar lead performances.
