Earthquake Tremors Shake North India
Late night panic gripped Delhi and the National Capital Region as strong earthquake tremors shook buildings and awakened sleeping residents. People rushed out of their apartments into open streets and parks as furniture and ceiling fans rattled during the sudden jolt.
The tremors were not confined to the national capital alone. Reports of shaking ground poured in from neighbouring Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, as well as several districts across Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab.

Seismological authorities are currently analysing the exact epicentre and magnitude of the quake. Initial reports indicate no immediate major damage or casualties, though authorities remain vigilant.
Experts advise citizens to stay calm during such natural disasters, drop and cover under sturdy furniture, avoid using elevators, and move to open spaces away from high-rise buildings and electrical poles.
