Realizing the situation was spiraling out of control, Delhi Police intervened decisively, detaining several top opposition leaders including senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. They were forcefully escorted and taken away in police buses, escalating political tensions between the opposition and the administration.
