In a major administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening law and order, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 20 IPS officers across the state, ranging from the ADG to the SP level. The latest transfer list includes changes of police chiefs in several crucial districts.
Key District Postings and Leadership Changes
According to the official notification, key districts that received new police captains include Barabanki, Basti, Ballia, Mau, Ghazipur, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Hapur, and Jalaun.
Ravina Tyagi has been appointed as the SP of Barabanki, Omveer Singh as the SP of Basti, and A. Raja as the SP of Ballia. Sarvesh Mishra takes charge as the SP of Mau, and विनय कुमार सिंह (Vinay Kumar Singh) has been assigned as the SP of Ghazipur. Suraj Kumar Rai has been posted as the SSP of Muzaffarnagar. Furthermore, Purnendu Singh has been made SP Baghpat, Madhuban Kumar Singh SP Hapur, and Suresh Chandra Rawat SP Jalaun.
ADG and Other Senior Postings
At the higher hierarchy, Satish Ganesh has been given additional charge as ADG Crime, while Bhagwan Swaroop has been assigned ADG Technical alongside additional charge of ADG Crime. Yashiveer Singh has been posted as SP Jaunpur, Kunwar Gyananjay Singh as DCP Prayagraj, and Arpit Vijayवर्गीय as DCP Lucknow.
Additionally, Kamlesh Bahadur has been appointed SP Public Grievances, Kunwar Anupam Singh has been transferred to PAC Headquarters Lucknow, and Chirag Jain has taken over as SP City Bareilly.
