Weather Takes a Dramatic Turn
The monsoon has intensified once again across several parts of the country, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue fresh warnings. Heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds is expected in around 16 states over the coming hours.
Authorities have urged residents in low-lying areas to stay alert as waterlogging and traffic disruptions are likely in multiple cities. Commuters are advised to check local traffic advisories before stepping out.
Winds up to 70 Kmph Expected
Along with downpours, gusty winds reaching speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour could batter vulnerable regions. Officials have advised people to stay away from weak structures and billboards during the storm.
