Video: Opposition MPs Protest At Jantar Mantar Against CEC, Rahul Gandhi Demands Resignation

Political tensions escalated sharply in the national capital as INDIA bloc MPs staged a strong protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Following a strategic meeting called by Congress President Mallikanjun Kharge near Janpath, opposition leaders boarded a bus to head towards the designated protest site, while heavy police forces and barricades were put in place to monitor the situation.

Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack, stating that opposition MPs were previously denied a meeting with the Election Commissioners. He asserted that for them, Gyanesh Kumar is not a legitimate CEC and demanded his immediate resignation, accusing top leadership of undermining the country's democratic framework.

Unified Stand Against Government Policies

Mallikarjun Kharge took to social media to declare that the protest would continue until their demands are met. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is orchestrating actions through the poll panel to weaken democracy. Opposition leaders emphasized that no amount of pressure or legal threats would deter them from protecting citizens' democratic rights.
