The Mysterious Death of a Young Businessman in Lucknow
The high-profile murder investigation of businessman Shiva Sharma in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow continues to unravel startling details. Multiple police teams are working round-the-clock to trace the prime accused, model Shraddha Dubey, and her accomplices. Despite weeks passing since the incident, the main suspect remains out of the reach of law, raising serious questions regarding the efficiency of the manhunt.
The case dates back to October 9, when 28-year-old entrepreneur Shiva Sharma died under mysterious circumstances after falling from the fourth floor of Avadh Green Apartment in the Hazratganj area. The victim operated several restaurants and cafes in the city. Following the tragic incident, the grieving family filed a formal complaint alleging that it was not an accident, but a premeditated murder orchestrated by close acquaintances.
Police Raids Near the Nepal Border and Constant Relocation
According to investigative agencies, Shraddha Dubey and her sister Rashmi Dubey went into hiding immediately after the incident. Initial inquiries revealed that the suspects fled via Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Bahraich before crossing the international border into Nepal. CCTV footage from a bus station in Nepal confirmed the presence of the suspects across the border, prompting law enforcement to dispatch special teams to neighboring towns.
However, the biggest hurdle in executing arrests has been the suspects' constant shifting of locations. Intelligence inputs suggest that Shraddha changes her city and hideout every few hours in Nepal, slipping away just before police teams can close in on her coordinates. Delays in cross-border coordination and technical bottlenecks have further complicated the pursuit.
Non-Bailable Warrants and Cash Rewards Issued
As the investigation intensifies, legal action against the fugitives has been accelerated. Upon the application of Hazratganj police, a local court issued non-bailable warrants (NBWs) against Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi Dubey, and driver Tanvir Ali alias Danish. Following the warrants, authorities have intensified raids and announced a cash reward of 25,000 rupees for credible information leading to their arrest.
The autopsy report previously confirmed severe external injuries on the victim's body, including ruptured lungs and internal organ damage. Furthermore, a personal diary recovered by the family detailed months of alleged mental harassment and pressure. Investigators are currently scrutinizing bank transactions, digital footprints, and audio-video evidence to uncover the complete truth behind the tragedy.
