The 500-kilometer long 'Sanatan Hindu Ekta Yatra' concluded at the renowned Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh. Traversing through five districts of the Bundelkhand region, the yatra finally reached its destination where a grand event was held. During the concluding ceremony, Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri addressed the gathering and highlighted the core objectives of the yatra, emphasizing social reform, women empowerment, and a drug-free society.
Strong Stance on Women Empowerment
Addressing the gathering, Shastri made a significant remark regarding women's rights and freedom. He stated, "Let us ensure that our daughters do not remain hidden behind burqas. Instead, they should become empowered and strong like Goddess Durga or Kali. They should not limit themselves but aim high and become IPS or IAS officers." He added that inspiring women to step forward and achieve prominent positions was one of the primary goals of the chariot yatra.
Focus on Hindu Unity and Drug-Free Bundelkhand
Outlining the other objectives of the march, Shastri stressed that community unity is essential for a progressive society. Uniting the Hindu community was the second major goal of the yatra, while making Bundelkhand entirely free from substance abuse remained a top priority. He noted that before trying to awaken the entire nation, one must inspire change within their own local community and household.
