A major twist has emerged in the high-profile Shiva Sharma death case in Lucknow. Social media influencer Shraddha Dubey, who is a key accused in the case, has released a video claiming complete innocence. This development has further complicated the investigation as police continue their aggressive hunt to locate her.
'I am not missing anywhere...' Shraddha's claims and defense
In the viral video, Shraddha Dubey is seen stating that her name is being unnecessarily dragged and linked with politicians and senior officials, which she claims is completely false. She alleges that Shiva Sharma did not commit murder, but rather died by suicide. Shraddha mentions in the video that while her physical health is not good, she is ready to appear before the police and cooperate with the investigation to bring out the truth.
However, this video has raised critical questions: If she is not missing and wants to cooperate, why is the police desperately searching for her, and where is she currently hiding?
Police trace abandoned SUV near Indo-Nepal border
Lucknow police's crime branch and local stations have been tracking Shraddha's movements across Sitapur and Lakhimpur before tracing her trail to Rupaidiha near the Indo-Nepal border. According to officials, her Scorpio car was found abandoned in a private parking lot near the border. Investigators suspect that Shraddha, along with her sister Rashmi Dubey and friend Adil, crossed the border on foot into Nepal. CCTV footage from a bus station in Nepal also captured visuals of three individuals resembling them.
Family levels serious blackmailing allegations
Meanwhile, the victim's family has come forward with grave allegations against the accused. Shiva's sister claimed that Shraddha befriended him on social media and subsequently started blackmailing him. The family accuses Shraddha of trapping wealthy young men to extort money. As police probe every angle of the October 9 incident at Avadh Green Apartment, the family continues to demand strict and immediate arrests.
