Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma attended the special 'Panchayat Aaj Tak Rajasthan' event, where he outlined his government's achievements over the past term and presented the roadmap for the future. During the session, he spoke extensively on government jobs, recruitment examinations, paper leak cases, and the overall governance in the state.
Promise to Deliver More Jobs Than Promised
Highlighting the state government's achievements on the employment front, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that continuous efforts are being made to fulfill promises made to the youth. He claimed that his administration has successfully distributed 1.93 million (1.93 lakh) appointment letters so far. Additionally, recruitment processes for 1.18 lakh posts are currently underway, and new vacancies for 1.25 lakh posts have been announced.
Challenging the opposition to keep track of these employment figures, the Chief Minister asserted that the government is moving forward with the firm resolve to provide even more employment opportunities than initially promised.
Strict Stance on Paper Leaks and Transparency
Addressing questions regarding transparency in recruitment examinations, the Chief Minister emphasized that the examination system has been significantly overhauled. Regular reviews and strict monitoring are conducted at both district and state levels to ensure smooth operations. He credited the government's strong political will and enhanced surveillance for conducting fair examinations without any disruption.
Targeting the previous Congress government, Sharma accused them of playing with the futures of young aspirants through rampant paper leaks and systemic irregularities, contrasting it with his administration's focus on transparency and timely employment.
Law and Order and Comparative Analysis
The Chief Minister also addressed questions concerning the law and order situation in Rajasthan. Responding to the opposition's criticism, he suggested that a comparative analysis of crime statistics from the previous five years versus the current governance record should be evaluated objectively to understand the ground reality.
